As a British luggage brand, established in 1914 and headquartered in London, we have a deep appreciation for the UK and its enduring sense of timeless elegance. We also know a thing or two about the places that make it so special. These are a few of our local essentials, including our go-to London spots and one very chic countryside retreat.
- The Devonshire: This London hot spot is as beloved for its Guinness as it is for its great food. Don’t skip the scallops or the suet pudding.
- The Twenty Two: With locations in London and NYC, The Twenty Two feels like a home away from home. It has quirky, fun rooms and a great bar for a cocktail after a long day exploring the city.
- Pophams: A favorite bakery. Our go-to order is a flat white and the Marmite, Schlossberger, and spring onion pastry. Follow it with a long walk for the ultimate Sunday morning in London.
- Forza Wine: With three locations across London, Forza Wine is a perfect spot for wine and small plates with friends, no matter where you’re staying.
- Borough Market: A tourist attraction for a reason. Right around the corner from Antler HQ, this is where we go for lunch or after-work drinks. We love Monmouth for coffee, Agora or Oma for a delicious Greek feast, Kolae for the best Thai set menu, and Elliot’s for a glass of wine.
- Oakley Court: The ultimate escape from the city, Oakley Court is set along the banks of the River Thames in Windsor, about 1.5 hours from London. Go for afternoon tea for a quintessentially British experience, made even more special by the stunning riverside setting.

- Biarritz: For a laid-back, surf town vibe. Currently wishlisting: Dimanche, Chéri Bibi, Yaoya.

We can’t hide our excitement about our newest launch, the Icon Stripe Dual Opening, a hybrid suitcase designed around the way we actually travel today. Travel is increasingly complicated—we’re moving between airports, trains, taxis, hotels, and everything in between—so the collection is all about making your luggage more flexible along the way. Working in the luggage business, travel is innately a part of the job for us. Given how much time we spend on the road, we’ve amassed a few habits and tricks that make getting from point A to B easier and more enjoyable. Most importantly, if traveling long haul with checked luggage, always have a carry-on with a few changes of clothes, a workout set, and a pair of sneakers, just in case of a lost baggage disaster. Also helpful for long haul travel is the Timeshifter app, which modifies your pre-travel routine and in-flight plan to help you avoid jetlag. If you’re a coffee person, bring a thermos to the airport and get a real coffee before boarding the plane. Plane coffee is notoriously mediocre and this way you can enjoy a higher-quality coffee that stays hot as long as you want to sip on it. Lastly, while we don’t want to drone on about packing cubes, they really are a game-changer.
