3 Days in Seoul: Curated by Simay Demirel
Three days is never enough for Seoul, but if I had to narrow it down, these are the places I’d make sure not to miss. This is my very personal edit of the city, centered around the things I love most here: independent bookstores, beautifully curated spaces, antique markets, under-the-radar tea houses, Korean craft shops, and (of course!) a few favorite places to eat along the way.
Tbilisi & Beyond, Curated By Local Expert Nanuka Jorjadze
Tbilisi is a city with a rich, layered cultural history, shaped by centuries of crossings, trade routes, invasions, empires, poets, artists, family legacy, and reinvention. You feel it in its courtyards and sulfur baths; carved balconies and Soviet mosaics; churches and buildings that look like they have survived several lives. It’s a city for those drawn to places that feel raw, real, chaotic, and warm. Impossible to summarize cleanly, Tbilisi can be tender and difficult, beautiful and dramatic, often within the same afternoon. I grew up in Georgia but also spent many years living abroad, so my relationship with Tbilisi is somewhere between deep familiarity and rediscovery: local enough to know its rhythms, but with just enough distance to notice the details I might have once walked past.
Our Costa Brava Short List: Everything to Know About the Coastal Spanish Region
The phrase I keep returning to to describe Costa Brava is this: Tuscany’s tiniest hilltop towns coupled with Menorca’s teal-blue swimming coves. It’s a huge region, with diverse landscapes, from the charming inland towns of Lower Empordà to the buzzy northern town of Cadaqués and the windswept, rocky beaches that line the coast farther north. The region offers laid-back, barefoot Mediterranean living at its finest, with plenty of soul and a creative heartbeat (it has long drawn artists, including Salvador Dalí, who lived here for much of his life). Just over an hour from Barcelona, Costa Brava is blessed with a long season (our late September trip was 10/10 summer weather), making it a destination we’d consider well into fall, when hiking and biking can replace beach time (but you’ll probably still get a few sunny days into October & November).
