Tips
A classic and historic tapas spot beloved by locals and tourists. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but don’t miss the spanish tortilla, meat and padron peppers, squid, and pan con tomate, and try their house made sparkling wine. Expect a line but it’s worth the wait.
An absolute institution in Barcelona for tapas. Tourists flock but still manages to be beloved by locals, authentic vibe, eat and go, not ceremonial. Prepare to queue, go early to avoid disappointment and during the week for lunch for shortest queues, if you can. Everything was incredible, highest quality and prepared to perfection. It has such an extensive list of options, with a focus on Catalan tapas dishes. Great local tip I got, order a bottle of house cava, delish!
