Boulangerie chez Pascal - Pains & Dunes BlanchesFamous bakery in town, known particularly for its baguettes and dunes blanches (a local specialty, choux buns filled with cream).
Chez HortenseThe most iconic restaurant in Cap Ferret, this seaside spot with beautiful views of the Dune du Pilat in Arcachon serves oysters, fresh fish (get the turbot), mussels with fries, and crisp wine. End with the chocolate mousse.
Dune du PilatThe tallest sand dune in Europe, located in Arcachon but visible from Cap Ferret. Best way to visit is to rent a boat and approach the dune from the water, then hike up it. (Warning: it’s a challenging hike!).
