Cobble Hill Cinemas · Brooklyn
Cobble Hill Cinemas
"One of my favorite neighborhood gems, especially during the Fall. I love an old-school movie theater, and this one feels like a little step back in time. There's something so nice about walking down Court Street, deciding to catch a movie on a whim, and disappearing for a couple of hours. It's the perfect way to spend a slow afternoon or an unplanned evening. Check their website for when they screen old movies."

Selima Optique · Manhattan
Selima Optique
"The brand behind the most sought out frames. Selima has a way of giving you the confidence to pull off just about anything. She'll be the first to tell me if a pair of glasses aren’t for me, but she's also the one to hand me a frame I'd never pick for myself and completely change my mind. Visit the Bond Street location (with a plethora of vintage clothing downstairs). It's full of personality, just like her, and I always leave feeling a little more inspired pairing new opticals or sunglasses with the season."

Ritual Moves Pilates (Dumbo) · Brooklyn
Ritual Moves
"This design-forward pilates studio in Brooklyn is one of my favorite ways to start the day. The deep heat morning class followed by a coffee and a bike ride around DUMBO (when it's still quiet in the morning) is one of those little routines that always puts me in a better mood. It's a nice reminder to slow down before the day gets away from me."

Dean's · Manhattan
Dean's
"An elevated British pub in the West Village from the people behind King. It's quickly become one of my favorite new spots downtown. Get their Mini Guinness and oysters—the perfect combination to start a night out or settle in for a long evening with friends."
Salter House · Brooklyn
Salter House
"Perfect for stocking up on my favorite facial mists, browsing their beautiful cotton sleepwear, and inevitably discovering something you didn't know you needed. Everything feels so thoughtfully considered, and it's the perfect place to find a little everyday luxury. Check out their next door gallery for ongoing exhibitions and sometimes a vintage designer pop up!"
