Set inside the iconic Winged Victory landmark building on Gran Vía, Club Metrópolis is a new hospitality concept made up of a private members' club, a 19-room boutique hotel, and seven dining concepts. The renovation preserved the building's historic structure and architectural details, including original moldings and a grand spiral staircase, while grounding the space with contemporary Spanish craft and design, with the intention of making it feel like a grand house. Guests have access to the members' club, gym, and spa treatments, as well as the full roster of food and drink concepts.

Nômade Temple Madrid marks the first Spanish opening for the bohemian, wellness- and community-forward hospitality brand. Set in a historic building on Gran Vía, the 93 rooms and suites—including two penthouses with private terraces—layer terracotta, checkerboard tile, and jewel-toned textiles against the building's original architecture. The spa, GÖN House of Healing, combines a sauna, hammam, and cold plunge with personalized wellness programs designed by in-house Journey Designers. The hotel also offers a rooftop pool, five on-site dining concepts, and Monopol Lab, a cultural space for music, talks, and performances.

A big hotel that doesn't feel like one, the Madrid Edition brings its sleek, high-design aesthetic to central Madrid, near Plaza Mayor. The 200-room luxury hotel delivers excellent service and spacious rooms, along with a restaurant by Enrique Olvera (the chef behind Mexico City's Pujol), a sprawling rooftop pool, spa, and fitness center. The rooftop restaurant, styled like a greenhouse, is a particularly lovely spot for breakfast.

This luxury boutique hotel designed by Philippe Starck feels more like an art collector's home than a hotel: intimate, welcoming, and full of original art and objects. Set in a historic building on Gran Vía, the hotel centers around the original 1922 wrought-iron staircase, rising seven flights to a rooftop that feels surprisingly quiet for how central it is. The La Capsule spa is small but well equipped, with a pool, red light sauna, steam room, and gym. Breakfast was a standout, with some of the best fruit we've ever had, and the seasonal restaurant delivered too, especially the T-bone.
